Sunbrella® Fabric

Thanks to its unique construction process, Sunbrella® fabric provides protection and years of service in intense sun areas of the Sunbelt, where UV rays will rapidly degrade both the exterior and interior of any vehicle left outdoors. Sunbrella® fabric comes in two colors; gray and tan. Sunbrella® fabrics have been tested and proven to provide up to 98% UV protection from the harmful effects of the sun.

Because of the use of acrylic fibers which are naturally UV resistant, Sunbrella® fabric has long been the recognized leader in long-wearing marine fabrics for sail covers and deck enclosures.

Due to the fact that Sunbrella® fabric is a dyed solution, actual color may vary.

Besides marine uses, Sunbrella® fabric is also used for commercial awnings due to its ability in providing UV blockage with a rich, woven finish. The acrylic fibers are solution dyed, before the fabric is woven, to assure the color goes all the way through the fabric. Furthermore, Sunbrella® is made out of acrylic so that unlike many other fibers, it resists moisture/mildew, and won’t harden or crack.  Using a special finish process, the material is then softened for use as a vehicle cover fabric.

The fabric is exceptionally strong and, coupled with its UV resistance; it also makes an excellent cover for your trailers that spend extended time stored outside

• Long-Lasting Strength - Acrylic fibers suffer minimal loss of strength from exposure to heat, moisture and UV.
• Fade Resistant - Colors are a result of pigments which are actually built into the fibers (solution dyed), instead of just dying the finished fabric.
• Water Resistant - Treated for moisture resistance (but, remember, this material is primarily for UV protection)
• Rot, Mildew Resistant - Acrylic fibers resist growth that occurs in moist environment

Tyvek RV ® out performs other cover materials as a proven shield from the sun - with a bright white fabric designed to keep your vehicle cooler by reflecting infrared heat.  Tyvek RV ® blocks 99.8% of the sun‘s damaging UV rays so that the paint and interior surfaces of leather, fabric, rubber or vinyl are kept like-new, without fading or cracking.

Tyvek RV ® is specially engineered to keep out abrasive dirt and dust, so vehicle finishes are less likely to become dull or stained.  In fact, Tyvek RV ® covers keep out 98% of particles larger than 3 microns, virtually eliminating the penetration of all dust.

The Tyvek RV top panel contains microscopic pores that not only resist water but also allow trapped moisture to evaporate from within. Tyvek RV is especially effective for locations with intense sunshine. It will protect your trailer from harmful UV rays as well as dirt and dust, rain and pollution, bird droppings and tree debris

 

 

SFS Aqua Shed®

 

You get triple the protection offered by standard covers. SFS Aqua Shed® features a layer of microporous, breathable film sandwiched between layers of soft, durable polypropylene. Breathable middle layer allows water vapor to escape, yet prevents most liquid from penetrating all three layers. Mfr. two year warranty.
