This is a helpful Air Up Chart as it tells you how fast a Power Tank will air up YOUR tires and how many of them it will inflate based on the various Power Tank sizes. You'll notice that, unlike compressors, all Power Tanks regardless of their size, inflate at the same rate of speed.

System Recommendations
These are very general guidelines to help you make a decision on what size is right for you. We know there are many other factors to consider. If you have any questions or concerns give a call and we'll be happy to help you.

Offroad, 4x4, Sand

5 lb. System - This is a small system that is great for buggies, Rhinos, and smaller rigs who trailer to the trail, need emergency air to reseat or repair a tire, run an air tool, and/or operate air lockers. Perfect size for quads, Rhinos.
10 lb. System - For rigs running up to 35" low pressure tires or 33" high pressure tires. (Low pressure is defined as 35 PSI or less and high pressure is 35+ PSI.) + occasional air tool use + air locker operation. Most popular seller. Fits CJs and Wranglers and smaller rigs well. Even fits on Rhinos with no prob. Also great for trail rigs with large tires but limited space. Best Seller.
15 lb. System - For rigs running large (35" - 44") low pressure tires or smaller (33" - 37") high pressure tires + more air tool use + air locker operation. Fits Wranglers, 4runners, and Broncos well.
20 lb. System - Primary air supply in a toy hauler trailer, RV or full size truck where the need for fast air before, during, after a weekend on the sand is needed.

Desert

5 lb. System - Small enough to fit on a Class one and big enough to make emergency repairs when support is nowhere to be seen.
10 lb. System - Also small enough to go on a race rig yet can do more work. Good size for small prerunner. More volume for air jacks than a nitrogen tank. Very portable.
15 lb. System - Good size for a chase truck or larger prerunner to run air tools, fill air jacks, inflate/reseat tires, blow dust off. Mount two for twice the capacity.
20 lb. System - Primary air supply in a chase truck or pit for all prerace prep work.

RV / Motorhome

5 lb. System - Too small in volume to be practical for most RV motorhome tires.
10 lb. System - 30 lb. full weight and 24" tall make this size system a good choice for easier toting. Works great with even the larger 22.5" tires as well as the 16" high pressure toy hauler tires. For total convenience get it with the Speed Bag.
15 lb. System - 36 lb. full weight and 30" tall makes this system a bit larger than the 10 lb. system and with 50% more volume, this size is better suited for the larger class A coaches. If you have a physical limitation go with the 10 lb. system.
20 lb. System - This system is very heavy (50 lb. when full) and much larger in physical size than the 10 and 15 lb. size. We recommend this system be hard mounted in your rig like in a trailer compartment or near the door of a toy hauler with easy access. The down side is that is is less portable but the up side is that it lasts a long time between fills.

Construction / Industry

5 lb. System - Good size when weight and quick mobility is an important consideration. This size will operate any size nail gun despite its compact size.
10 lb. System - Great for larger construction jobs yet still affords easy portability and versatility especially in the Speed Bag. Great for trimming base board and crown moulding as well as fence construction far from electricity and your truck.
15 lb. System - At 36 lb., this PT15 System still weighs less than most compressors and will out work them saving you time and money. This is a great size for a service truck that needs air everyday. A spare full tank would complete this very high performance and reliable air system.
20 lb. System - Placed in the middle of a room this size will keep three guys working. This is also the size tank you'll want to refill the 1.25 lb. and the 2.50 lb. CO2 tanks. Placed on a farm or fleet truck, this system will outperform any compressor in flow rate performance, portability, and versatility. And a Power Tank along with a tire plug kit will fix a flat tire on a truck or tractor and get it back to work fast.

We all know the feeling when you hear the snap of metal or the swoosh of a blown side wall. Your heart drops because you know you're in for some work. With a Power Tank™ and a few air tools your trail fixes will be done almost as fast as they were "undone". Here we see Steve replacing a broken knuckle arm with a very vintage Power Tank system. The current Power Tanks are twice as powerful as the originals yet even the old models still in service have incredible performance capabilities and the best warranty in the industry.
