Sandrail Cover FAQ’S :

What are the measurements of your sandrail covers?

• Overall length from nose to the rear wing is 198" (16’ 5”)
• Overall width of the front tires is 90"
• Overall width of the rear tire is 94"
• Overall cab width is 90"

Do the sandrail covers come in different fabrics?

• Yes, our sandrail covers come in 4 fabrics. The SFS cover is an entry level cover that is a good dust cover when storing the sandrail indoors. It also can be used outdoors in mild weather. It is mildew and water resistant, not  waterproof. This cover does not provide UV protection. This cover only comes in gray. This cover has a one year warranty.
• The gray vinyl cover is waterproof. We strongly recommend that this cover is only used for short term storage, such as overnight, when camping. Moisture will collect and mildew and rust may form on the sandrail if the cover is used for prolonged periods of time, especially indoors. This cover is not meant to be left in outdoors in the sun. This cover has a one year warranty.
• The Tyvek cover has a 99.8% UV protection rating and can be used outdoors for prolonged periods of time. This cover is mildew and water resistant, not waterproof. This cover has a two year warranty. The Tyvek sandrail cover only comes in the color white.
• The Sunbrella cover has a 98% UV protection rating and can be used outdoors for prolonged periods of time. This cover is mildew and water resistant, not waterproof. The Sunbrella cover is our most durable and long lasting cover. This cover has a five year warranty.

  Do you make covers for 2-seater sandrails?

• At this time, our contour-fit sandrail covers fit a standard 4-seater with an overall length of 198in.
• Three buckle straps are sewn into the length of the cover so that the cover can be secured.

  Can you make a custom 2-seater sandrail cover?

• Not at this time.

  My sandrail measurements are larger than the covers you offer. Do you make custom sandrail covers?

• Not at this time.

  My sandrail measurements are larger than the covers you offer. How will the cover fit?

• In most cases, the cover will rise up and expose more of the tires.

  I don't have a rear wing. How will the cover fit?

• The cover has brass grommets sewn in the back of the wing area to hold the extra fabric.

I do have a rear wing. Will the cover tear?

• Vinyl reinforced patches are sewn into the cover where the rear wing is located.

I have a roof rack on the top of my sandrail, will the cover fit?

• Yes, the cover will fit, however the cover may rise up a bit on the wheels.

  How much do the sandrail covers weigh?

• The weight of our sandrail covers are approximately 15 LBS. to 25 LBS.

  Do you make a waterproof sandrail cover?

•   Yes we do. Unlike our other fabrics, the Gray vinyl is waterproof. It is NOT BREATHABLE. This cover is meant for short-term use in the field. Prolonged use of the vinyl cover may increase the moisture underneath the cover, which could lead to rust or mildew.

  I have an open trailer. Do you make a sandrail cover that will travel on the freeway?

• No. We do not make covers for open trailers.

 What manufactured sandrails do you cover?

• Our sandrail covers have fit sandrails from the following manufacturers: Tatum of Temecula (Black Widow), Funco (Big 5, Gen 5), Suspensions Unlimited and Extreme.
