Some of the Benefits Campfire Rings undoubtedly do have, is an added level of safety, when set up at the campsite around any campfire. Depending on the variety of wood chosen, and the humidity of it when lit up, it greatly reduces the risks of sparks from the fire site igniting secondary, unwanted fires. Those unintentional fires are sometimes hard to contain and pose a hazard which may not be underestimated.

Fire Safety First!
When traveling, the average American enjoys the simplicities of the outdoors: hiking through nature trails, camping (in designated areas), and building a campfire so that you and yours may enjoy a beautiful dinner and stories as the sun is setting. Now, in today’s modest and responsible American setting, something we all keep in mind is safety. Fire Rings are a must-have, outdoor cooking accessory. They are more important than the skewers and pans that we use for turning food into succulent dishes. Fire rings protect yards and woods from encroachment, by fire. They protect the wildlife that rely on humans to act responsibly and they keep small children away from the dangerous blaze.

A campfire ring is a portable or stationary space in which a campfire may safely be burned. Several varieties and sizes of campfire rings are available. These campground fire rings are usually made of steel or another fire-resistant metal, and range in diameter and height, depending on your campfire needs.
The most basic design of a campfire ring is simply a metal circle intended to enclose a fire in a safe manner. More complex designs include metalwork decorations and words around the side of the ring, as well as additions such as stands for holding a pot over the campfire. Camping grills are also available for use with a campfire ring. Camp fires can be large or small, and camp fire rings are available in a variety of sizes to fit these unique needs.
