If you do any serious off-roading you know the importance of on-board air. On board air can be used for re-inflating your tires due to leaks, reseating tires back on their rim, aiding in tire repairs, and for running air tools like impact wrenches.

The more serious off-roader even relies on his on-board air to run his axle air lockers or provide a quick lift to his truck with an air jack. Of course, if you have a powerful on-board air system you might find yourself also blowing sand and water out of your air filter or inflating your crushed fuel cell back into shape.
And in all the world there is only ONE on-board air system that can do all of these things and do them well. It is The Power Tank.

System Recommendations
These are very general guidelines to help you make a decision on what size is right for you. We know there are many other factors to consider. If you have any questions or concerns give a call and we’ll be happy to help you.

RV / Motorhome

5 lb. System – Too small in volume to be practical for most RV motorhome tires.
10 lb. System – 30 lb. full weight and 24″ tall make this size system a good choice for easier toting. Works great with even the larger 22.5″ tires as well as the 16″ high pressure toy hauler tires. For total convenience get it with the Speed Bag.
15 lb. System – 36 lb. full weight and 30″ tall makes this system a bit larger than the 10 lb. system and with 50% more volume, this size is better suited for the larger class A coaches. If you have a physical limitation go with the 10 lb. system.
20 lb. System – This system is very heavy (50 lb. when full) and much larger in physical size than the 10 and 15 lb. size. We recommend this system be hard mounted in your rig like in a trailer compartment or near the door of a toy hauler with easy access. The down side is that is is less portable but the up side is that it lasts a long time between fills.

Motorhome Covers

Motorhomes are a major investment, and like any other kind of substantial investment they should be properly protected. In this case we’re not talking about insurance policies but rather motorhome covers. Considering the potential depreciation and the high cost of motorhome repairs versus the low cost of motorhome covers, it isn’t surprising that most motorhome owners chose to buy a motorhome cover.
When it comes to deciding which motorhome cover you want, many immediately decide that the sole basis for their decision should be the price. This is a fairly common mistake, on the same order of deciding to skimp on insurance. In both cases the immediate savings are typically offset several times by long term losses.
One excellent suggestion is to think back to the day you bought your motorhome. If you invested a considerable sum of money in your new motorhome because you wanted to enjoy it for a long period of time, then you need to do what it takes to keep your motorhome in top form for years to come. Everything from proper engine maintenance to choosing from a variety of motorhome covers is and always was simply part of your plan. What you may not have counted on back then was the plethora of motorhome covers available on the market.
The first major question is whether to buy a “one size fits all” mass produced cover, or a custom motorhome cover. The “one size fits all” variety has the benefit of generally being cheaper, but you do get what you pay for when it comes to custom motorhome covers.

A properly selected and fitted universal motorhome cover can protect your investment longer under adverse conditions, but custom motorhome covers tend to be a better choice. Remember: not all motorhomes were made the same, and not all owners live in the same climate. You need to choose the option best suited to your environment.
Once you’ve chosen to go with either a custom motorhome cover or a universal cover, next check what they’re made out of. Some of the less expensive covers are less expensive because they’re not made from quality materials. You should take extra care to make sure any cover is specifically designed to handle both the weather where the motorhome will be parked as well where you plan on taking it. For example, if you live outside of Chicago but frequently plan to visit the Grand Canyon, you need to ensure that your motorhome cover can protect your investment against everything from UV rays to evaporating snow.
Last but not least you need to ensure that any cover you buy has reinforced areas anywhere it will come into contact with edges on the body of your motorhome. Some less expensive motorhome covers skimp on this, and the result is often a tear that may or may not be covered by the warranty.

www.toyboxcovers.com has the very best selection that you can fine at the best prices to!

Co2 Air Tanks

If you own a recreational vehicle or a serious off roading machine, then you are probably aware of all of the various devices and repairs that call for compressed air. For RV owners, the large heavy capacity tires that are used on these vehicles require large amounts of air pressure in order to remain inflated. For off road enthusiasts, compressed air is needed to refill tires, run impact tools and other onboard equipment. For both situations, a good Co2 air tank is necessary.

Co2 air tanks are essential for motorhome maintainence. Having a portable supply of compressed air that can not only refill tires quickly, but also power equipment that requires a source of compressed air such as impact wrenches is a must when traveling in a recreational vehicle. Co2 air tanks are a must-have item, especially since the most recent batch of class A motorhomes now have tires that require high air pressure to be inflated.

Today’s modern class A motorhomes are now being outfitted with large tires in order to handle the ever-growing weight of these machines. These tires are similar to the types used on motor coaches and tractor trailers, and often require very high pressures to remain properly inflated. Some trailer tires need as much as 90 pounds per square inch (psi) in order to be properly inflated, and the tires now found on class A motorhomes require up to 135 psi for proper inflation. Ordinary air pumps are not up to the task of filling a tire this size in a quick amount of time, but it is possible to do so with the right Co2 air tank. Serious off roading fans will also appreciate a portable Co2 air tank, since such tanks can be used to power air tools that are used to make quick repairs, as well as quickly reinflating tires and reseating tires back on their rims. Some off roaders use onboard Co2 air tanks to operate air-actuated axle lockers and air jacks. Having a Co2 air tank can save you time and effort when conducting roadside repairs.

Most Co2 air tanks are made out of either steel or aluminum. Aluminum tanks are lighter, but also a bit more expensive. You’ll see that the tanks are rated at 5, 10 and 15 lbs. This refers to the amount of Co2 that these tanks can hold. These tanks can be refilled at any venue that has a large source of liquid Co2, including paintball supply shops, welding shops and fire extinguisher service shops, and at an average cost of $10-$15 per refill, refilling is also inexpensive.

www.toyboxcovers.com has the very best in Co2!

Investing in high quality spare tire covers is important. Actually, it’s almost like having insurance. No one in their right mind would set out on a journey without making sure that they’re safe and protected. Your spare tire won’t do you much good if it’s been left baking in the sun or otherwise unprotected. There are several options to consider when selecting covers for your spare tire. The most popular choices for high quality covers are Vinyl spare tire covers, leather spare tire covers, custom made spare tire covers and hard chrome. Decide which one best serves your needs.

If your spare tire will be in the trunk, or otherwise protected from the elements, then you can feel safe going with a vinyl spare tire cover. Ideally, the purpose of a vinyl cover is to keep the blackness of the tire from getting on the other items in the trunk or cargo area. Additionally, a vinyl cover wipes down easily, so you don’t have to worry about it collecting dust in your cargo area. Vinyl covers are moisture resistant and a great solution for RV spare tire covers.

Boat spare tire covers, and covers for exterior spare tire setups on some RVs are generally made of a hard material. Hard spare tire covers are great for protecting tires from the elements. If you keep your spare tire on the roof, or if it’s on the back of your vehicle, like a jeep, then a hard cover is the best way to go. These can often be painted or customized to match your exterior. They also come in chrome and fiberglass. In areas where your tire might be hit with something sharp, like while loading and unloading equipment, the protective benefits of a chrome spare tire cover are without a doubt important.

While you’re shopping for spare tire covers for your RV, boat, motorcycle or car, be sure to consider where the tire will be stored, and whether or not it will be exposed to direct or indirect sunlight. Also, you may want to think about how much time you’re willing to spend maintaining it, and whether or not your spare tire is stored in an area where it’s likely to be struck by something. Consider deeply how easy it is to remove and replace the spare tire cover. Be sure that you’re getting the right size for your vehicle and tire, and decide whether or not you’d need professional installation. Choosing a quality spare tire cover is important. No one wants a flat tire and not protecting your spare tire is almost like canceling your insurance before you take a trip. A spare tire cover protects your investment.

Having a telescoping flagpoles to display your colors are a great way to show pride and spirit and to help find your campsite, when coming in from a day – long excursion. Whether you prefer to use a telescoping flagpole on your front lawn or attached to your camper, trailer, toy hauler, truck, or placed in the ground, they are easy to use and quick to install. . The telescoping flagpoles come in assorted sizes to accommodate various location needs.

Once you have your telescoping flagpole, you’ll be happy you do and you will wonder why it took you so long to get one! Fiberglass is the favorite material used in the construction of these telescoping flagpoles. Fiberglass is durable and will last a lifetime. Fiberglass flagpoles weigh very little, about four pounds, and they can be packed and put way easily. Aluminum flagpoles are another lightweight material that is used for constructing flagpoles, however, fiberglass flagpoles are even lighter. Not only are the fiberglass flagpoles lightweight, but they have also been made to stand up to desert and seaside force winds. The diameter of the top section of the flagpole is one inch in diameter and the bottom of the pole is just under two inches, making for a new sturdier design. Knowing how effortless it is to set up a fiberglass, telescoping flagpole, how lightweight it is and knowing how long it will last, purchasing one or more for you, or as a gift, is an intelligent choice.
Telescoping flagpoles are for sale in sixteen foot and in twenty two foot heights. These two great choices in height will better serve you based on what your place or recreation vehicle allows you to use as a placement site, in order for you to showcase your flags. Whether your flagpole placement site is in or around rugged or a flat terrain, the different sizes will help to accommodate your needs. Are you in the market for purchasing a fiberglass, telescoping flagpole? Good, if you are, then go visit www.Toyboxcovers.com , which has a great selection of fiberglass, telescoping flagpoles, mounts, flags, and lights for your poles. All of the flagpoles are made of fiberglass and are sturdy enough to withstand the heavy desert and seaside winds. The flagpoles are easily raised and compact quickly for rapid storage. This is the time to purchase a flagpole.

Buy one today at www.Toyboxcovers.com. You’ll be happy you did!

The purchase of a travel trailer, RV or a toy hauler is a substantial investment. When you make that decision, you’ve made a commitment of your finances and time. You want to enjoy this investment for a long time. Keeping it in top condition is a “must do” not a “want to”. One way to do this is to use travel trailer RV covers when storing your unit.

First of all, you’re going to have to choose between a custom cover and a standard size. If you’ve decided to keep your travel trailer, RV or toy hauler for a several years, you’ve made a top of the line purchase, if you’re dealing with an odd shaped trailer, or if you live in an extreme climate, you should seriously consider a customer cover. Otherwise, measure carefully and get a universal cover.
What will travel trailer RV covers do for you?

Using the cover will reflect the infrared rays of the sun to keep the temperature inside lower than it would be if you allowed the unit to sit and bake. That means the interior of unit will last longer and avoid sun fade of the finish. Covers that are made of material that is breathable will protect your travel trailer, RV or toy box from the effects of rain and snow, while at the same time allowing moisture to escape, eliminating the build-up of mold and mildew. You don’t need extreme weather to realize the benefits of a cover. High winds, rain and blowing dust can all take their toll on your unit.

What should you look for in travel trailer RV covers?

A breathable and durable material is important. The cover should be properly contoured. Corners should be reinforced to avoid snagging and tearing. In addition, corners should be snug enough to provide a good fit, but loose enough to make sure it’s an easy on and off process. Seams and hems should be evenly stitched and adequate for heavy duty use. The travel trailer RV cover you invest in should have zipper entry doors. There’s nothing worse than getting your rig parked and winterized, then to cover it only to discover you’ve left your keys inside. Easy access means you’ll be able to go in and out easily.

How do you take care of travel trailer RV covers?

The cover you choose should have its own storage bag. That way you keep the cover secure, safe and clean while you’re using your unit. But don’t put that cover away dirty or in need of repair. Before you put the cover into storage, drape the cover carefully over a clothes line, hose it off and let it dry. If you notice that you’ve gotten a snag or a rip in the cover, repair kits are available to make the necessary patches.

So, for maximum protection of your investment in a travel trailer, RV cover or toy hauler cover. It will keep your rig looking new. Quite frankly, the greatest return on this investment is when you no longer have to clean bird droppings off before your first road trip of the year.
