One of the great things about RVs is all of the accessories you can get for them. An RV is, after all, your own home and an extension of you, so it should be as unique as you are. Most flag poles are made of weather-resistant, flexible fiberglass. It’s best to get a pole that is telescopic and is easy to take on and off. Think outside of the flag box (so to speak) when considering what to place on top of your fiberglass, telescoping pole. Some people now put on wind socks, streamers or even very small kites, which makes drivers all around you grin. It sure beats going to an RV campground and finding a sea of American flags. Let’s face it – if you don’t know what country you’re in, you shouldn’t be getting behind the wheel of an RV.

Other things RV enthusiasts like to place atop of flag poles are lights. This could be one single LED strobe light on the pole’s top or a kit to make your pole light up like a Christmas tree. It sure makes you more visible to other drivers and safer.
